VOLUNTEERS are needed to help support deaf-blind children and adults taking part in activities this summer.
Sense, the national charity for deaf-blind people, will run a holiday programme in Filey in July, and volunteers will be put up in outdoor activity centres, cottages, farms and barns, villas or barges.
Participants will assist deaf-blind people while kayaking, horse riding, camping or making sand castles, and give a break to families who support a deaf-blind person.
To get involved, phone 08451 270060, email holidays@sense.org.uk or visit sense.org.uk/volunteering by the end of March.
