A COUNTRY inn and restaurant in the North York Moors, The Blacksmiths Arms, is up for sale.
The large, two-storey stone-built detached pub, near Pickering is for sale leasehold at an asking price of £145,000.
Ryan Lynn, who is handling the sale at Christie + Co, said the pub has 19 letting bedrooms and owners’ accommodation, two bars and a restaurant, with three and a half acres of land.
She said: “Unfortunately, the current owners are unable to devote their full time and attention to it due to other business commitments. The Blacksmiths Arms already has a strong turnover, which has increased year on year, and there is the scope to increase it further. The business is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced operator.”
