A MOTORIST was taken to hospital after his car overturned on a road near Scarborough.
The incident occurred in Hay Lane, Scalby, when a black Renault Clio left the road and landed on its side at about 8.55am yesterday.
Emergency services were called, but the male driver of the Clio was not trapped in the vehicle. A Yorkshire Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the man was believed to have sustained minor injuries and was taken to Scarborough hospital.
