THIEVES stole a quad bike from a farm on the Hovingham to Malton road overnight on Saturday.
As well as the green Kawasaki bike the thieves took a large number of power tools including chainsaws, strimmer and leaf blowers, a lawnmower, and a water pump.
They also stole a Karcher power washer, boxed drills and socket sets.
PC Paul Fenwick, of Malton Police, said: “If you saw any unusual people or vehicles acting in a suspicious manner in the Hovingham area during the time the burglary and theft occurred, I urge you to contact the police straight away. If you have been offered the stolen quad bike or power tools matching the description of those stolen, I ask that you contact the police as soon as possible.”
Anyone with information should phone Malton Police on 101, email paul.fenwick@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk or phone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
