Two in court on ATM theft charges
TWO men have appeared in court in connection with an ATM raid in Kirkbymoorside.
Jason Mawson, 44, from Crook, County Durham, and John Henry Corrigan, 26, from Durham, appeared before York Crown Court yesterday, facing charges relating to the theft of a cash machine last July.
Mawson was charged with theft of a vehicle and theft of an ATM, while Corrigan was charged with theft of an ATM.
Neither entered a plea at the preliminary hearing, and both spoke only to confirm their names.
A hearing has been scheduled for May 12 at York Crown Court, and both were released on conditional bail.
