NORTH Yorkshire Moors Railway is asking people to donate their teddy bears for a week of half-term activities.
The railway is planning teddy bear-themed fun in half-term from February 15 to 23 including a teddy tribute on Goathland station.
The railway’s Danielle Ramsey said: “We would love to have the platform absolutely lined with bears to wave to the train passengers as they pull into the station.
“Anyone who is trying to find a new home for old cuddly toys can drop them in customer services at Pickering station and we’ll give them a great home.”
In teddy week children can collect a Teddy Bear Trail sheet when they board the train at Pickering, with clues along the line to complete the trail.
Children with a teddy bear also travel free with a paying adult.
