EMERGENCY services including the Yorkshire Air Ambulance were called to a North Yorkshire road after high winds caused a lorry to overturn.
The 7.5-tonne truck was being driven along the B1363 at Gilling East, Ryedale, at about 12.30pm yesterday when it was blown off the road. It came to rest on its side in a field after damaging a fence, and the driver managed to climb out.
A police spokesman said the driver was taken to York Hospital with a minor injury to his arm, and the air ambulance was not needed.
