A FILM producer from North Yorkshire has been nominated for three awards at the UK’s largest student film festival.
Nina Kastner, 22, from Whitby, has had her film HOWL nominated for the Thriller Horror, Best Screenplay and Best Film categories at the Screentest Festival.
The festival is held at London South Bank University as a way for filmmakers to showcase their talent, and the film, directed by Jamie Sims, was made as a graduation film by a team of 13.
Nina said: “We are delighted about our nominations – especially to be selected for three different categories.
“We’re extremely excited to attend the festival.”
“Screentest has become an extremely well-known festival, and we are overjoyed to be a part of its tenth anniversary. Screentest is important as it offers great publicity and networking for HOWL.”
The film will be showcased at Screentest, at London South Bank University from March 21 to 23. For more information, visit screentestfest.org.uk
