A MAN was airlifted to hospital with a serious injury after an accident involving garden machinery.
After treatment at the scene in Sandsend, near Whitby, by a doctor and paramedics from Yorkshire Ambulance Service and the Great North Air Ambulance, the man in his 50s, was taken to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough, yesterday.
