Wombleton fight victim home
A MAN who suffered serious facial injuries during a fight in a North Yorkshire village was discharged from York Hospital yesterday.
The victim, who is in his 40s, was injured in the vicinity of the Plough Inn in Wombleton, near Kirbymoorside, on Sunday evening.
North Yorkshire Police said that a man his 20s who was arrested on Monday in connection with the incident had been released on bail, pending further inquiries.
