Pensioner rescued after car crashes into hedge
FIREFIGHTERS rescued a 77-year-old man whose Toyota Taris crashed into a hedge on the A170 at Sinnington, between Pickering and Kirkbymoorside, this afternoon.
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said the driver was stuck in the vehicle until it was winched out of the hedge, whereupon he was checked out as a precaution in an ambulance.
