Body found on Yorkshire beach
THE body of a man has been found on a North Yorkshire beach.
North Yorkshire Police said they were called to Cayton Bay, near Scarborough, at about 11.30am on Wednesday after a member of the public found the body of a 66-year-old man from Merseyside on rocks.
A spokesman said: "The man’s death is not believed to be suspicious, however, an investigation will be carried out to determine how he died and the circumstances surrounding his death. We are not yet in a position to release the man’s identity."
