EMERGENCY services were called to an explosion at a house in North Yorkshire last night.
Fire crews were called to the incident at a detached house in Gildercliffe Road, Scarborough, at about 9.40pm.
North Yorkshire fire service said it is believed to have been a gas explosion.
It added that a window was blown out of the property.
The crews liaised with gas engineers and the police, who were in control of the scene, and left the incident with them.
No-one was injured, according to the fire service.
