BILL and Ben the Flower Pot Men, mascots of the Wass Open Gardens, watch over another garden party. For the tenth year running gardens in the village of Wass are opening to the public.
Ten households will have their gardens on display tomorrow from noon to 5pm. Eunice Walker, owner of the The Wombwell Arms, said she expected it to be “another great day for the village.” Visitors are invited to Wass’s new village Hall in which tea, cakes and sandwiches will be available.
