POST office services are to return to a North Yorkshire village, nine months after the alleged murder of the previous postmistress.
Robin Garbutt, 45, will stand trial in March for the murder of his wife Diana, 40, whose body was found in the flat above the post office which they ran together in the village of Melsonby.
A temporary mobile postal service will begin in the village on January 4.
Post Office Limited has announced the office will be parked on Aldbrough Road on Tuesdays from 2.30pm until 4.30pm, and on Wednesdays between 1.30pm and 3.30pm.
It said it would continue to seek a long-term solution as well.
