Phil Utley led the club home in 22nd place in a time of 37 minutes and 13 seconds.

Dan Holdsworth was next finisher, 40th in 38.17, while Rob Burn picking up maximum points after age-adjustment, was 65th in 40.26.

In the Melmerby 10k, which was the third race in the Yorkshire Dales Series, Andrew Halliday was sixth out of 222 finishers in a fine time of 34.30.

Lorraine Hiles, who clocked 44.02 to finish 78th, also took third place in the F45 category.
