A 92-YEAR-OLD man was found dead from shotgun wounds in the garden of his North Yorkshire home.
Police say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of the pensioner, who was found at his home in Raskelf, near Easingwold, at about 12.30pm on Sunday.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said officers were alerted by the ambulance service following a report of a sudden death.
He added: “On arrival they found the body of a man who had suffered a head injury who was pronounced dead at the scene.
“There are no suspicious circumstances and no one else is being sought in connection with the incident.”
Police have not yet released the identity of the man.
