A PAINTING by North Yorkshire artist Fiona Scott is to feature in a prestigious exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery in London.
The self-portrait by the sister of TV presenter Selina Scott is one of only 55 pieces of work in the nationally acclaimed BP Portrait Awards 2011.
Her painting, chosen from more than 2,000 entries, shows her wearing a leopard skin print coat holding a cup half-full of coffee. It will be on display to the public from June 16 to September 18.
Fiona is married to a farmer, Mark Wainwright. They have four children and live at Sproxton, near Helmsley, where she has her studio.
