AN elderly couple in Scarborough who have been plagued by anti-social behaviour are offering a £100 cash reward to help North Yorkshire Police find those responsible.
The couple, who are in their 70s and do not wish to be identified, have been forced to put up with eggs being thrown at the windows of their house in Throxenby Lane, Scalby, on several occasions over the past few months, and have also had their front hedge ripped up.
A fence has also been damaged and the couple say the incidents are causing them a great deal of stress and concern.
They are willing to offer the cash to anyone who can provide the police with information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the people responsible for the incidents.
Officers are appealing for anyone who regularly uses Throxenby Lane, particularly in the evenings, to phone PC Leanne Wilson, of Scarborough police, on 0845 6060247.
