POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a crash between a motorbike and a lorry in North Yorkshire.
The collision was just before 7.30pm on Wednesday on the B1257 route between Stokesley and Helmsley, near Laskill, and involved a blue BMW bike and a mustard-coloured lorry.
The motorbike’s rider, a man, 48, from Hull, suffered serious injuries to his face and is in a stable condition in York Hospital. The lorry driver, 53, was not injured and the road was closed for about six hours afterwards.
