A MAN has been arrested in connection with the theft of five high-value mountain bikes from a camper van in Kirkbymoorside.
The theft happened in the car park of the Lion Inn pub in Blakey Ridge, on Saturday, June 16, and involved a red and white Epic Expert valued at £4,500, an Intense 6.6 worth £3,500, a lime green Santa Cruze Heckle valued at £2,600, a specialized Stunt Jumper worth £2,500 and a Rocky Mountain Blizzard worth £1,500.
A 38-year-old man from Middlesbrough was arrested in connection with the theft in the early hours of yesterday has been released on bail.
