A CHILDREN’S orthopaedic outpatient service has been set up at Scarborough Hospital in a partnership with Hull and East Yorkshire Hospital NHS Trust.
The hospital said the service will mean patients under 16, with conditions such as dislocated hips and foot deformities will no longer have to travel to Hull or York for follow-up care.
Under the agreement, two full-day clinics will run on separate Fridays at Scarborough Hospital each month.
