YORK City conceded four goals for the second game in succession as they were beaten 4-0 at Wycombe Wanderers.
Home striker Dean Morgan netted two first-half penalties at Adams Park, the first on three minutes after a foul by City's Scott Kerr, and the second just before the break.
Joel Grant added a third goal on 59 minutes and the fourth came from Dave Winfield 12 minutes from time, while the visitors - who lost 4-1 at home to Morecambe last weekend - struggled to carve out chances.
The defeat leaves City 18th in the npower League Two table, still eight points above the relegation zone.
Promotion-chasing Gillingham are the Minstermen's next opponents at Bootham Crescent on Tuesday.
