YORK City manager Gary Mills is not worrying about other teams’ results as the Bootham Crescent club bid to secure their League Two safety.
The Minstermen are currently eighth bottom in the table but just four points above the relegation zone.
Six of the seven teams below City in the standings also have a game in hand and at least two sides in those bottom seven places are guaranteed to get a result this afternoon.
Accrington Stanley, in 22nd, are entertaining a Torquay team two positions above them, while basement side Plymouth play host to 21st-placed Barnet.
But, ahead of his side’s home match with Bradford City, Mills said: “We can’t do anything about what other teams do.
“It’s only natural that people will be looking at other teams’ results but I don’t think anything good comes of that and it can cause problems.
“We can only concentrate on ourselves and do our own jobs to pick up enough points to keep us in this division.
“If that’s not enough then God forbid but, if it is, then fantastic.”
Today’s key fixtures are: Accrington v Torquay, Aldershot v Gillingham, Bristol Rovers v Burton, Cheltenham v AFC Wimbledon, Plymouth v Barnet.
