YORK City legend Andy McMillan will be following @daveflettpress on Twitter to check on his old club’s progress at Dagenham & Redbridge this afternoon.
The Minstermen need a point in East London to secure Football League survival while Barnet, where McMillan is now head of academy coaching, require a win at Northampton to ensure their safety.
McMillan, second in City’s all-time appearances’ list, was travelling to Swansea this morning with Barnet’s under-18 team and admitted that he was anticipating an anxious day as he waited to learn whether the two clubs are safe.
He said: “It’s going to be a nerve-racking afternoon. Maybe I’ll go for a round of golf and I’ll be looking out for your tweets.”
Any City supporters unable to get a ticket for today’s game can get score updates and news of substitutions by following @daveflettpress on Twitter.
There will also be a live blog on the game on our website .
