YORK City will face the Conference's form team when they visit Kidderminster Harriers tomorrow.

Mark Yates' men have won their last five league fixtures, which is a run only matched by Burton Albion this season.

The Midlands club's last defeat was against Stevenage on November 25 but, since that home reverse, Harriers have won seven of their last eight fixtures - the only dent in an otherwise perfect record coming when they fought out a thrilling 4-4 FA Trophy draw at Aggborough against Vauxhall Motors.

That goal fest, however, was out of context with the rest of Kidderminster's season.

Only Stafford Rangers have scored fewer goals at home than the 12 Harriers have managed.

Kidderminster are also one of ten Conference teams who have accumulated more points away from their own fans this season.

Former Mansfield Town and Leyton Orient striker Iyseden Christie continues to be Kidderminster's biggest goal threat with nine from 21 outings this season.

But 6ft 2in tall Walsall forward James Constable has also contributed four goals in six appearances since he arrived at Aggborough on loan from the Bescot Stadium.

Ex-Derby and Wolves star Dean Sturridge, signed from QPR in the summer, is still sidelined with a ruptured Achilles that he suffered back in September.

But another former Premiership player - Jeff Kenna - will take on the Minstermen.

Right-back Kenna, now 36, won 27 caps for Ireland and worked under City boss Billy McEwan at Derby County.

Yates must also decide whether to recall fit-again midfielders Gavin Hurren and Michael Blackwood to his starting line up.

Niggling injuries saw both players miss Saturday's 1-0 FA Trophy victory at Exeter but deputies Jake Sedgemore and Brian Smikle are likely to make way for their return.

Hurren is expected to partner fellow central midfielder Russell Penn, who would be an ever-present in the Harriers' side this season had it not been for a one-match ban.

Kidderminster's five consecutive league victories have been at home to Cambridge United (1-0) and Altrincham (3-2) and away to Southport (1-0), Stafford (2-1) and play-off contenders Gravesend (3-1).

Kidderminster v City match points

Compiled by David Batters City have made five visits to Aggborough - four of them in the Football League.

In that competition they won once and lost three times. Their solitary success was in 2002/03 when Stephen Brackstone and Lee Nogan scored in a 2-1 win.

The corresponding Conference fixture last season ended goalless and City's line-up on November 19, 2005 was: Porter, Price, McGurk, Andrews, Merris, Bertos, (O'Neill), Convery, Yalcin, Dunning, Bishop, Donaldson.

Players to have represented both clubs include goalkeeper Tim Clarke, central defender Steve James and striker Jon Newby.
