YORK City's Bootham Crescent home will continue to be called KitKat Crescent for a further two years.
Nestle Rowntree's KitKat brand today announced an extension to its sponsorship of the club which includes the stadium's naming rights.
The club's main stand will also continue to be known as the Nestle Family Stand'.
Neither the company nor the club would reveal the financial terms of the deal, but it will be a sizeable five-figure amount.
Nestle donated £100,000 in January 2005 and that at the time enabled City to complete the £2.1m deal to buy the ground back from Bootham Crescent Holdings.
Paul Grimwood, Nestle Rowntree managing director, said: "York City football club is an important part of our city and we are delighted to continue our support.
"The Minstermen's red and white strip matches the iconic KitKat branding - keeping together two of York's most famous residents, making it a perfect partnership.
"The success of the club is important to many of our employees and the people of York.
As part of the sponsorship, Nestle Rowntree employees will benefit from two Nestle Family Days' at the club and the company will participate in City's community programmes.
City managing director Jason McGill said: "As a football club which aims to be at the heart of the community, it is essential we are supported by local people and local businesses."
