JAMES Dudgeon is expected to face his former club Scarborough tonight as York City Reserves look to progress in the North Riding Senior Cup (7pm).

The McCain Stadium pitch is very heavy but was reported to be playable yesterday and frost covers have been in place overnight.

Boro will welcome Carl Cook back from injury for his first game in three months.

The Boro side for the first round tie also includes goalkeeper Mark Wilberforce, who had a brief trial with City last season.

None of the City players involved in last night's 1-1 Nationwide Conference draw at Halifax will play, but some of the unused substitutes at The Shay may get a run out.
