FOOTBALL fans are being invited to find more about York’s new community stadium at an open afternoon.
York City’s Bootham Crescent ground is the venue, on Monday, September 1, between 3pm and 7pm.
People can view initial plans for the new home of the club and York City Knights.
Chairman Jason McGill and his fellow directors will be present to answer any questions fans have about the forthcoming stadium.
They will also be joined by the City of York Council’s stadium project team, who will be able to present further details of the scheme and the surrounding community facilities.
There will be display boards showing images of the stadium and information leaflets available to take away with all the key facts.
The event will take place in the vice presidents’ suite. Directions to the room will be visible in the main car park at Bootham Crescent.
The new plans for the stadium at Monks Cross were unveiled by the city council earlier this week.
