THE Archbishop of York has put his faith in York City Football Club.
Dr John Sentamu, who will be at KitKat Crescent for tomorrow's play-off game, has shown his support for the Minstermen by buying a season ticket.
He said: "I want to recognise and support the investment that York City is making in the community. Next year will be a big year for City, there's likely to be a new stadium and more investment in the community, I want to support what they are trying to do and show my commitment, in buying my ticket.
"Regardless of the play off result I will be standing by York City."
The Archbishop's ticket will cost just over £350. Dr Sentamu was at the recent 1-0 win over Oxford United when he joined players on the pitch before the game alongside manager Billy McEwan.
