YORK City's players are only focussed on tonight's massive Morecambe match, boss Billy McEwan has insisted.
The Minstermen manager revealed no-one at KitKat Crescent has talked about the prospect of Wembley appearance on May 20 or had even looked ahead to Monday's return match with Morecambe at Christie Park.
And he said that despite City's impressive finish to the Conference league season, the play-offs were a "whole new ball game".
"We don't even talk about it (Wembley) because we know when you start looking too far ahead you can make yourself look a fool," McEwan said. "We are just concentrating on the moment, our next game, and focus all our energies on that match. We're not even talking about the Monday game. It's what we do at home.
"The league campaign is put to bed, we've had a good season. Now we are in the semi-finals of a cup competition and it's a whole new ball game. If we have to go to Morecambe and do damage to them over there then so be it."
