EDDIE NOLAN has left York City.
The 27-year-old departed the Bootham Crescent club this afternoon by mutual consent as manager Jackie McNamara's clear out continues.
Nolan joins Anthony Straker and Marvin McCoy to have left the League Two stragglers in the past week having been deemed surplus to requirements.
He arrived on a free transfer in the summer after leaving Scunthorpe United at the end of last season.
The defender made 18 appearances for City, scoring once in a 2-2 draw against Stevenage in September.
A club spokesman said: "York City would like to thank Eddie for his contribution during his time at Bootham Crescent and wish him well for the future."
