OUT-OF-CONTRACT York City midfielder Neal Bishop has returned from the Four Nations Tournament with a winner's medal.
The England National Game XI side beat Wales 3-0 to win the round-robin competition having secured the title without conceding a goal in the Scottish Highlands.
Hyde United hitman Gareth Seddon and Mitchell Cole, of Stevenage, were on the scoresheet in England's defeat of the Welsh, which was completed by an Adie Harris own goal.
Earlier in the competition, England had beaten Ireland 5-0 with Bishop in the starting line-up and also defeated hosts Scotland 3-0.
Oxford United midfielder Andy Burgess, John Grant (Aldershot) and John Ashton (Rushden and Diamonds) sunk the Scots.
Bishop is currently considering new terms at KitKat Crescent but is entitled to a free transfer under the Bosman ruling.
* Boston United, relegated to the Conference, have lost their manager Steve Evans, who has quit the club.
