CALLUM RZONCA has today become the latest player to commit his future to York City for 2016/17.
The 19-year-old put pen to paper on a one-year deal, taking his stay at Bootham Crescent into a fourth season having first joined the club’s academy in 2013.
The Minstermen, meanwhile, are still waiting to hear back from Danny Galbraith and Michael Ingham regarding their contract offers.
After impressing during his two-year scholarship with the under-18s, winger Rzonca was handed his first professional contract last summer, though he made only two first-team appearances last term, including a debut in the League Cup in August against Premier League side Swansea City.
Rzonca later joined Evo-Stik League premier division club Stamford on loan in March, appearing nine times over the remainder of the campaign.
