YORK City’s North Riding Senior Cup trip to Whitby Town has been arranged for Tuesday, January 10.
The Minstermen will send a reserve side for the quarter-final tie at the third-placed Evo-Stik League premier division outfit’s Turnbull Ground for a 7.45pm kick off.
Former City duo Lee Bullock and Mark Robinson are now player-coaches with the Seasiders.
The last-eight’s other games are: Middlesbrough reserves v Northallerton Town, Pickering Town v Marske United and Richmond Town v Scarborough Athletic.
Former City boss Chris Brass, meanwhile, has been appointed as head coach at Sky Bet League One Bury on a deal until the end of the season.
Brass, 41, was in charge when the Minstermen first tumbled out of the Football League back in 2004 and then relieved of his duties following the club’s poor start to its maiden Conference campaign.
He was previously assistant to manager David Flitcroft at Gigg Lane, then took up a role as director of football operations and was placed in interim charge after the latter left following a run of 11 games without a win.
The Shakers have lost all four matches under Brass, but chairman Stewart Day has made his appointment permanent with Ryan Kidd named as assistant-manager and Chris Sedgwick first-team coach.
