TOCKWITH Motorsports’ pair Matt Greenwood and Sarah Moore have extended their lead at the top of the Britcar Dunlop Endurance Championship.
The pair managed to enhance their position during the latest round of the series despite having to nurse their Whitworth-sponsored Ginetta G50 around Donington Park after it suffered mechanical difficulties.
Greenwood and Moore guided the car to a class victory in race one and runners-up spot in race two, overcoming hot weather, traffic and technical issues to maintain their 100 per cent podium streak.
That record represents a magnificent achievement for Greenwood who, at 16, is enjoying his first season of senior motor racing.
In race one, the talented teenager showed maturity and raw speed to record the fastest lap of the race and cross the line first even though the car lost power on the last lap.
The pair then overcome concerns about their vehicle to finish second in race two.
There are still three rounds to go, with the next taking place at Snetterton on Saturday, September 8.
