YORK City may feel they still have an outside chance of sending their fans down Wembley Way come next May, but Craig Farrell will be at the FA Cup final regardless of the Minstermen's progress in the competition.
The striker's eight minute hat-trick as a substitute against Rushall Olympic in the fourth qualifying clash at KitKat Crescent has seen him voted player of the round.
The 24-year-old, who kept up his recent scoring exploits with a brace off the bench against Farsley Celtic, scooped nearly 40 per cent of the votes cast on the FA's website - a full ten per cent ahead of Chasetown's Mark Branch, his nearest rival.
Farrell will receive a VIP invitation for himself and a guest to the FA Cup Final at Wembley on May 17. He also wins a trophy and £500 of football equipment to donate to a school of his choice.
City's FA Cup dreams continue on Saturday when they entertain Blue Square South outfit Havant and Waterlooville.
