YORK City have reported club-record season ticket sales as 550 were picked up by fans in two days.
Season ticket holders from 2019/20 have had priority yesterday and today, with tickets going on general sale tomorrow at 10am.
Nearly half of 2019/20 season ticket holders have renewed since the start of the week.
Supporters can buy online, over the phone or at the stadium's ticket office, which is open from 10am to 8pm this Thursday.
The club’s online ticketing platform can be accessed at york-city.talentsport.co.uk.
Supporters will have the chance to visit the LNER Community Stadium on the open day, which is scheduled for Sunday, July 11. The 2,000-capacity ticketed event will give supporters a chance to pick their own seat or change seat if they have already purchased a season ticket beforehand. The club has also offered the opportunity for supporters to switch seats after the first home league game.
Individual match tickets for the club’s mouth-watering pre-season fixtures against Newcastle United, Middlesbrough and Sunderland will be available at £12 for adults and £8 for concessions.
