CRAYKE sprung the surprise of the evening as the Pilmoor Evening Cricket League entered the play-off stage.
Peter Thomas made an unbeaten 47 with Joe Wright adding 44 in their 121-4 total against Thirsk.
A fine all-round bowling performance then reduced Thirsk to 81 all out, with Alex Lynas taking three wickets with support coming from Jude Barton, Hugh Shedden and Joe Wright.
During the play-offs, the bottom six teams each, with the three winners earning a place in the quarter-finals alongside the top-five placed teams.
Dringhouses earned their place in the quarter-finals with a home win over Sheriff Hutton Bridge.
Bridge batted first, with Matthew Maltby (41) and Harry Sutcliffe (36) the main scorers in their 109-4.
Jacob Green took 2-15 for the hosts.
Dringhouses needed 11 from the last over, which came down to three from the last ball - and Harry Watkinson emerged as their match-winner, hitting the last delivery for six to finish on 36 not out.
Earlier, Andrew Kenyon had made 25, with Dan Waterworth taking 2-29 for Bridge.
Sessay entertained Raskelf and, after a shaky start, reached 146-7 thanks to 74 from Ben Kettlewell and 23 not out from Chris Morrison.
Toby Baker took 3-40 for Raskelf.
The Raskelf reply never gathered any momentum and the visitors closed on 69-8.
Jojo Horn continues to impress for Sessay, taking 4-19, while Rocco Cockcroft also did well, taking a wicket in his five overs, which cost only 14 runs.
