PUPILS from St Peter’s School are celebrating after their recent success in the English Schools Swimming Association competition.
Both the under-13 girls and the under-18 boys gave outstanding performances at the London Aquatic Centre for the finals of the national competition on Saturday, November 20.
The U13 girls finished sixth in the country for their freestyle relay, followed by a strong 10th place in the medley relay final later in the afternoon.
Meanwhile, the U18 boys' team put in a huge effort to finish 11th in England for the freestyle relay, narrowly missing out on the final.

Toby has also earnt himself a scholarship as an athlete starting in August 2022 at Canisius College in Buffalo, New York, in the United States.
Mr Maycock, swimming teacher at St Peter’s School, York, said: “Congratulations to Toby and Finlay on what is a brilliant achievement.
"We are very proud of them, and they are both fantastic role models for our younger sporting athletes.”
