YORK City toppled Blue Square Premier leaders Aldershot with a scintillating display at KitKat Crescent.
The Minstermen were fully deserving of a stunning 2-0 victory which extended their unbeaten run under manager Colin Walker to 13 games.
Striker Richard Brodie put the home side in front after just seven minutes, nodding in Nicky Wroe's cross.
City spurned a host of chances to extend their lead but after Brodie had departed to a standing ovation his replacement, Craig Farrell, created the clinching second goal.
Farrell chased a lost cause down the right and pulled the ball back for strike partner Martyn Woolford to score with four minutes remaining.
