YORK boxing prospect George Davey has confirmed the date for his first fight of the year.
Davey will box on Saturday, April 16 at the Telford International Centre in his sixth bout as a professional.
The welterweight has won all of his five pro fights to date, having turned over in October 2019.
The card, which is being staged by Davey's Hall of Fame promoter Frank Warren and shown live on BT Sport, will be topped by Jason Cunningham's EBU European super bantamweight title defence against Terry Le Couviour.
Elsewhere on the bill, unbeaten super-bantams Liam Davies and Andrew Cain will fight for the WBC International Silver title while Nathan Heaney defends his IBO International middleweight belt.
Meanwhile, former British and Commonwealth 120lb champion Brad Foster fights ex-WBO European title-holder Ionut Baluta.
Prospects Eithan James, Brad Strand, Owen Cooper, Macauley Owen and George Bance will all be seeking to maintain their undefeated ledgers.
Davey's gym-mates Rafal Benka and Hughie Wilson - who are also trained by York boxing legend Henry Wharton - are in action at the Oldham Leisure Centre on Saturday.
