WEMBLEY Stadium will host the men's and women's Betfred Challenge Cup finals as well as the AB Sundecks 1895 Cup final next year.
The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was the venue for this year's men's Challenge Cup and 1895 Cup final but the sport will return to the national stadium on Saturday, August 12 in 2023.
The move gives York City Knights the chance to return to Wembley following last year's 41-34 defeat to Featherstone Rovers in the 1895 Cup final at the London ground.
York City Knights Ladies will also have the opportunity to compete at Wembley for the first time, having reached the 2021 final at Leigh Sports Village, losing 34-6 to St Helens.
“Wembley Stadium is the cup final’s spiritual home – a superb venue with plenty of attractions nearby for supporters of all ages, including the iconic Wembley Way," said RFL chief commercial officer Mark Foster.
