YORK City Ladies began life in the National League division one north with a come-from-behind 1-1 draw at Norton & Stockton Ancients.
Bianca Owens put the hosts in front just before the hour mark at the Norton Sports Complex.
York replied just a couple of minutes later when Felicity Jones produced a calm finish into the far corner.
City host Bradford City in their first home game of the league season at York St John University Sports Park on Haxby Road on Sunday (2pm).
