FORMER York City Knights loanee Mikey Lewis has been shortlisted for the 2022 Betfred Super League young player of the year award.
Lewis is among three nominees in the running for the award, alongside Leeds Rhinos forward Morgan Gannon and St Helens back Jack Welsby, as chosen by the England Performance Unit.
Hull KR star Lewis has enjoyed another improved season in 2022, featuring 18 times and scoring nine tries as the Robins secured a higher league finish than city rivals Hull FC, placing eighth.
The personal highlight of the half-back's season was arguably the hat-trick of tries he scored against Hull in July's 34-28 Magic Weekend defeat to the Black and Whites.
The 21-year-old's stellar season follows on from a successful loan spell at York last year.
Lewis featured six times for James Ford's side in 2021, scoring four tries and one goal.
He appeared in wins over Widnes Vikings, Oldham and Swinton Lions (twice) as well as the Knights' narrow 41-34 AB Sundecks 1895 Cup final defeat to Featherstone Rovers at Wembley Stadium - the club's first appearance at the national stadium since 1931.
The Super League's young player of the year award winner will be determined at the 2022 Man of Steel awards night on Monday, September 19 at Headingley Stadium, which will be live-streamed on Super League's YouTube channel.
