YORK City Knights Ladies pair Hollie Dodd and Lindsay Anfield are in the running for two new Betfred Women's Super League awards.
As well as being shortlisted for Woman of Steel, back-rower Dodd is one of the nominees for the inaugural BWSL young player of the year, alongside Leeds Rhinos duo Keara Bennett and Fran Goldthorp.
Director of rugby Anfield meanwhile is up for the BWSL coach of the year, which is being given out for the first time, alongside Lois Forsell of Leeds and Warrington Wolves boss Lee Westwood.
Dodd and Anfield have played crucial parts for York this year as the Knights have claimed the BWSL League Leaders' Shield and the Women's Nines.
The Ladies will be seeking a third trophy of the season when they take on Leeds in their first BWSL Grand Final on Sunday at the Totally Wicked Stadium in St Helens (3.30pm).
Dodd and Anfield will find out whether they have won their respective awards next Thursday (September 22).
