SCOTT BODEN has departed York City to join Buxton on a deal until the end of next season.
Boden joined York from fellow Vanarama National League side Boreham Wood during the summer but has since found his appearances restricted at City.
The striker played just four times for the Minstermen, with his only start coming in the 1-0 away win at Maidenhead United last month.
The 32-year-old, who did not feature in the squad which beat Bromley 2-1 on Tuesday night, was unable to score a goal during his limited afforded minutes.
Boden joins a Buxton side currently sitting 18th in the Vanarama National League North.
The move follows comments made by York manager John Askey on Monday that "to bring players in then I need to get one or two out".
