Tom Evans, Darren Craddock and Stuart Elliott have all been told they will be released by York City as Colin Walker begins his preparations for next season.
The trio have been informed they will not be offered new deals and will leave the club after the final Blue Square Premier match of the season at Salisbury City on Saturday.
Evans, 31, has made 46 appearances for the Minstermen this season but has struggled with his form and lost his place for a spell in September, when he was replaced by on-loan Bristol City 'keeper Stephen Henderson.
Darren Craddock, 23, has made 31 appearances and seven as a substitute and has played at both full back and centre-half in the Minstermen's 3-5-2 formation.
Elliott, 30, has appeared in 41 league and cup games and five as a substitute, scoring three times including spectacular goals in both league fixtures with Stafford Rangers.
