JAMES FORD has responded to a trade media report linking York City Knights prop Marcus Stock with a move to London Broncos.
The move would bring to end Stock’s four-year stay at York, having joined in 2019 from Hemel Stags.
He has since made 77 appearances for the Knights, scoring 17 tries.
During that time Ford's team have finished in the Betfred Championship play-offs twice in the space of three seasons while also reaching the AB Sundecks 1895 Cup final in 2019, losing 41-34 to Featherstone Rovers in the club's first appearance at Wembley in 90 years.
“It’s that time of the season where players get linked with retentions or to be moving on,” said head coach Ford.
“It’s great that the sport is getting that kind of exposure.
“But whether Marcus is a player at York, London or any other club next year wouldn’t be fair for me to comment on at this time.”
The Broncos finished 11th last season, 10 points clear of relegation.
