YORK City Knights will hold their 2022 awards night on Saturday, October 8 (6pm) at The Principal Hotel.

York's end-of-season awards evening will be held at the Hotel's Event Centre, with a limited number of tickets available at £60 per person.

Supporters attending the evening will be receive a three-course meal, with a formal dress code in place. BBC Radio York commentator Andy Atkinson will host proceedings.

York's end-of-season awards evening will celebrate the achievements of the club's men's, women's and disability sides this year.

The Knights' men's side secured a return to the Betfred Championship play-off places in 2022, finishing 12 points clear of nearest top six rivals Sheffield Eagles and Widnes Vikings.

James Ford's side went on to beat Halifax Panthers 26-24 at The Shay in the quarter-finals, in the club's first Championship play-off victory since reforming as the Knights in 2002.

The Ladies secured a maiden League Leaders' Shield in the Betfred Women's Super League as well as reaching the Grand Final for the first time, losing 12-4 to Leeds Rhinos, and winning the inaugural Women's Nines.

The Disability side played against Leeds Rhinos as part of first ever triple-header at the LNER Community Stadium in June, while also competing in a festival at Newcastle's St James' Park at Magic Weekend the following month.
